About The Author
Tim Bennett is a freelance writer, editor and publisher. His articles have appeared in many local and national newspapers and magazines including: Decision, Voice, Guideposts, France Today, Writer’s Digest, Writing!, Vision, The Syracuse Post Standard, Canandaigua Community News, The Alfred Sun, The Good News Paper, among others. He won the 1999 national Amy Awards and $10,000 for an article entitled, “Saving Private Ryan: Saving Mankind.” He wrote the humor column, With A Grain of Salt, for the Good News Paper for seven years and had a syndicated column for the Amy Foundation for three years.
He was editor of the Elim Herald, the Elim Fellowship monthly magazine out of Lima, New York, and has edited three books: First Contact Evangelism by David Allport (B.A.S.I.C Publishing; 1999), Anger Reconciliation by Jim Offutt (soon to be published by Sel Publications), and The Lurking Devil of Murder by Kevin Cotter (Pre-Emption Publishing; 2007, 2008).
He published In His Service: The Christian Business Directory of CNY annually from 1994-98. He also self-published two books: With A Grain of Salt* (Sel Publications; 1999) and Salt For the Supper Table (Elim Publishing; 2004). He is working on a suspense novel involving young people set in France.
Tim also served as a missionary to France for eight years with his wife Veronique. They have three children.
