Tim has been a part-time freelance writer for over 20 years and his articles have appeared in a wide variety of local and national publications including: Writer’s Digest, Guideposts (cover story), Decision, Writing!, Voice, Canandaigua Community News, The Syracuse Post Standard, The Syracuse Parent, Eagle Newspapers, The Alfred Sun, among others. His article, “Saving Private Ryan: Saving Mankind,” won first place and $10,000 in the national Amy Awards in 1999. He wrote a humor column, “With a Grain of Salt,” for The Good News Paper of CNY for seven years and was a syndicated writer for the Amy Foundation for three years. He has self-published two books: With A Grain of Salt (1999) and Salt for the Supper Table (2004).
